The proof is in the math.
What do you want, a link to some commercial site so you can read that Joe Blow says "so and so?"

Use your brain and do the math. That is your proof.

One of the standards of HDTV is 720 in an aspect ratio of 16:9.

1280 divided by 720 is 1.78 or 16:9.

Anything less than 1280 x 720 does not have a pixel count that is a true 16:9.

Therefore, ipso deducto, anything less than 1280 x 720 cannot be true HDTV.

Look at the math with your own eyes and your own brain.
What is so difficult to grasp about that?
What other "proof" do you need?

Regards,
-Ward

Even though I dont completely agree with you Ward but my question is, which i think is the most important is, can you tell the difference in PQ between 1024x768 and 1280x720?

I persoanlly couldnt and thats why I didnt upgrade to the 50inch model based on the resolution alone and instead decided to spend the extra $600- $800 on a decent 5.1 surround system. I compared both models side by side and couldnt tell any difference at all. They both looked awesome...

What's your personal opinion Ward? I'm just curious if you yourself can actually tell the difference sitting about 10ft away....

Math thing didn't matter.
The requirement was that it has to be 720 vertical as the above documentation describes.

She's is right Ward, go read my poll. You lose Ward. The Electronic giants spoke, the plasma experts spoke, and again, see my poll.
The people have spoken!

You are more pathetic than I originally thought Ward. Click this link and then stick your calculator up your a s s. Congratulations on making yourself look like the biggest idiot. You just stole Zedds spot on the podium. Way to go. Once again, like fish in a barrel.

BTW, Thanks for performing the math for us in advance. YOUR math equation makes it very easy to understand that this 42" set does indeed meet the criteria for TRUE HD. Which also nullifies many of your previous idiotic statements about ALL SETS below 50" are not possible of displaying TRUE HD. Thanks Again

Oh and remeber when I agreed with you about 1024x768 not being True HD? Now lets see if you are near man enough to admit you were wrong and agree with me. I suspect you will once again cower in silence.

Math doen not lie, people do. Twist it, turn it and believe wht you want but the number are the numbers. If just plain too damn stupid to accept it. Thats your parents and your states education systems fault. Iditot!!

Excellent repy. Lot's of information. lol

So now there is a conspiracy on the web to discredit you and Ward? This gets better by the minute. At least I pepper my insults with some type of relevent information. You are simply back pedeling and name calling without providing anything new to the discussion. OK Ward, Zedd has his crown again.

I am now suing my parents and my college for not adequately preparing me on how to deal with people that have special needs like you and Ward. Instead of criticizing you, I should be trying to help you understand how the real world works and that it is OK to be wrong sometimes. I am sorry my brother. I have failed you and myself. Where did I go wrong? Where oh where?

I thought these guys were reputable after all of the business I have given them. Turn out to be liars like the rest of em.

Math doen (not sure what you were going for here) not lie, people do. Twist it, turn it and believe wh(I would place an "a" here)t you want( maybe a "," here) but the number (singular) are the numbers (followed by plural). If just plain too damn stupid to accept it (This sentence has serious issues). Thats your parents and your (already specified "your" so redundant) states education systems(should be singular as the state has only one education system) fault (Um, You may want to consider getting your tuition back and suing your parents). Iditot!!(excellent closing remarks)

I have corrected your attack. Please refer to the information enclosed within the () following each infraction of proper English.
