Default Dumb Question - Is my TV high def?

This stuff is confusing. I'd like to order a Cox High Def receiver but I don't know (becasue the owners manual doesn't specifically say) if my plasma TV is High Def cable. Can anyone help? Thanks

This is an HD TV. 1080i is definatley HD resolution. How do you plan on connecting the reciver and the TV? You will need component video/DVI/HDMI cable(s) for HD resolution on your TV.
