You have given me a great idea with all of this! I'm going to give Directv a call tonight and tell them that I shouldn't be paying the 10.99 a month HD programing fee since I don't have HD! At best I'm sure I can convince them to give me 1/2 off since I'm only around 1/2 definition for HD programing..... Wow I bet that will work!

I'm sorry but your analogy is way off mark. It was a nice try but completly different. You had the choice on whether to purchase an "edtv". You only pay for HD channels if you want them added.

1024 x 768 Is Not True HD

As I've stated before...1280 x 730 is HD. 1024 x 768 is not HD. And
No amount of complaining, attempting to justify, or sour grapes comments will change that.

Also, that 852 x 480 panel is Panasonic's lower tier, budget model.

Regards,
-Ward

Perfect example of a "Tard". Hmmmmm, So your saying SD and HD content will look the same on an ED set? If that is what your saying, and it does appear to sound that way, that would make you the recipient of the Biggest idiot on the web award. Congratulations! The panny ED in many cases will beat out several true HD sets (to include yours). Even experts, which you are clearly not, will agree with that statement. People as dumb as you need a solid punch in the temple. I only say that because the vision of punching you in the temple (repeatedly) is very soothing for me. Your knowledge and reasoning skills suck dude.

BTW, The 37" Westinghouse you have is about as gheto and washed out as you can get. I'll bet a paycheck that the panny ED will smoke the ever loving crap out of your set with HD content (or any content for that matter).

Shove your True HD crap up your a s s. Who here has argued other wise? Anyone that refers to their 1024x768 set must also specify that it is not True HD (which I actually did in my earlier post to accomodate the other bottom feeders such as yourself) or Ward the dumb a ss cleaver will have to correct you and set you straight. Get off of your "I have 10% more pixels than you" high horse. Jerk of f

"So your saying SD and HD content will look the same on an ED set?" That IS NOT what I said, idiot.

Ahhh, i see your another internet tough guy with a degree in stupidity, 480p (DVD quality) is the best ANY EDtv will see, it will not upconvert to 720p, 1080i (hi def you retard) and most certainly never 1080p[/quote]

Serve yourself and do the slightest bit of research of your own before you make yourself look like an idiot and please, dont go with the viewing distance of ED looks as good as HD beyond 10 feet. What a joke only ED buyers would argue.

LMFAO old man. You make me laugh. I live in NH so I don't have to fly. Where was the threat? I said "like to" not "going to" and being a half intelligent person, I know the extreme imporbability of any two idiots actually taking time off to meet each other for a "brawl". And BTW, I am right and your are WRONG. Please reply if you think I am worth your valuable time or have something On Topic to discuss. Slightest bit of research? Practice what you preach old man and don't forget to return your copy of Brokback Mountain.

You again dishing out advice when you have a system that matches your furnace. And another thing, you might be better served loosing the avatar "showing off" your system. It does nothing but crack me up each time I see it. What is that, a pressed board credenza that your made in Taiwan 37" POS is sitting on? Come on now.

Again, I'll repeat my advice. With those specs, keep a low profile, and refrain from dishing out insults to those that have decent systems.

If I had to choose between what you have and a high end ED plasma, it would be a no brainer. Nice thing about that Westinghouse of yours, is it would fit nicely into my garbage can. No need to have to drive out to the dump like with a normal sized TV. Jeez......
