Please help decide between PANNY ST50 or Samsung PN60E550 60-Inch!

I am torn between these two sets - I am hearing about issues with the SAMMY having BUZZ and horizontal lines after several months use...the Panny reviews seem more favorable?

Not sure - I have an opportunity to buy the Sammy from DELL with 12 months free finance however I want the better TV.....

Panny's are just as notorious for the dreaded buzz..However , i never had an issue with them
I would go with the ST50 though ..
Just got my GT50 and love it!Came from an S2 and it amazes me that the picture is so much better!!

Im switching my Samsung 51" series 7 smart 3D, for the GT50. The Samsung is too glitchy. The smart menu likes to jump on the screen. IR trails, sound from this particular model sounds like a blown out speaker when pushed past 50% volume. I used to be a Samsung guy. This will be the 2nd Samsung that I have to return in the past 2 months!!! Im reading alot of glitchy issues about Samsung lately????
The ST50 is ok, but it does not come with the THX setting! I like the design of the GT50 better as well..

thanks guys - well I took the plunge and ordered the ST 60" !

Hopefully its as good as they say - seems to be slightly comparable to the VT series (better value)

I dont need THX

The ST series got awesome reviews ..Only reason i didn't pull the trigger on it was the price at the time crept up so close to the GT ,i just got it instead..I ,like rfresh 187 do prefer the overall look of the GT more ..THX is nice but not a huge deal ..I'm sure you'll be very happy with the ST 60

You will be happy with the ST 60!!! I got a great deal on my GT50, otherwise I would have went with the ST series!!! For the record, I think THX setting is overrated myself!! just my humble opinion!!!

I got the Integra DTR 30.4 to match it and wow its really great!

Can't wait for 3D movies

congrats! you made the right choice. PQ on Panasonic plasma is always better than Samsung
