Just trying to make sure I have this break in thing down. I have my new Plasma set at 50 percent brightness, 50 percent contrast, and its in the standard non torch mode. It looks great, however it seems a little on the darker side. I do take into account I have been starring at at 20" LCD at point blank range for the last two months. So a plasma is going to seem less bright due to it's nature. However, if I change the setting to Samsung's "game mode" POOF! The brightness goes right where I want it to be...eye popping! But that is going to throw off my break in right!? I primarily run two sources Xbox 360 and PS3 via hdmi. I don't even have cable. So it seems these two inputs would be optimized by keeping the tv on game mode, as they are game systems. By the way I have a second plasma a 55" Hitachi that I never knew about any break in period. I pretty much used it as normal from day one making no changes to the settings. It still has a better picture than any tv I've seen with no break in. So what do you suggest?
