Hello, I am new to this forum and through it found out about the shootout.
I was wondering if the new Sharp 920 (2D) set will be tested. A dealer in my area thinks it is superior to the VT25 (he sells both).
I know reviews on the 810 and 820 have been pretty good, but color accuracy is way off-yet they say the picture looks good.
Anyway, interested to see how the new Sony does also.

I seriously doubt the Sharp will look better. What is the price difference and since the Sharp is 2D only it should be much lower but I bet it isn't, and could be WHY the dealer prefers (higher profit margins for him just maybe

) that.

I'd really crackup if it did though. But I also doubt it will look better.

I don't think any TV in a lower price point will match it.

Maybe if Samsung or LG do something new, then maybe! But I don't think a second tier LCD will.

Just my opinion.

Sharp isn't 2nd tier IMO. They own more patents on LCD displays than I think any of the other LCD mfg.
