Default Best TV for viewing outdoors?

Want to set up a system on the outdoor patio for football season. Are there any options besides those "sunbrite" sets, which are weatherproof and overpriced? Just want a set I can keep outside for Sept/oct. Will bring in before the winter. Also will buy a cover in case of rain. Any sets perform particularly well outdoors, in terms of viewing and holding up to the elements? thanks.

Sunbrite is it!! They are EXPENSIVE!! THere are some resturants around here that have LCD or Plasmas outside in a boxed container. But, they bring them indoors in Oct!!

No set will do any better in the eliments. Odds of a failure will be great just leaving the set outside even if it is covered. Dew sets in on some mornings in some locations of the us. If this happens, the dew will rust internal components and so on.

If this is a smaller set, it would take about 1 min to take on and off a wall mount. Why not hang it when you will use it, and store the tv inside when not in use?

last year I had a Sony 50" LCD outside for Sept/Oct football games, brought inside when rain was forecast, otherwise put a grill cover over it, no problems.
This year a want a 55-60" set, but don't want to spend a lot in case the weather does indeed ruin something internal.
