Default Need Olevia Firmware

I have an Olevia LCD TV that is having some lag issues. I am told there is a firmware update that would resolve this, however, there is a little snafu. Doing a bit of research, I discovered that the company that made it went belly-up, support websites and all. I want to get at least another year out of this thing before I pop for a new one (or at least, have tried everything so I can justify the expense to the missus.)

Does anyone know where I can get the last firmware update for this? It's an Olevia 232v (model# 232-s13)

Or, if no such site exists, does anyone have it?

Many thanks!

Awesome. The firmware mine has is the one it had out-of-box (I got it in late '08 on clearance.) The version number it spat out was ADB1_AQ_232CC_A34_19c.A20.PM24.C.ADXT30. Didn't give me a date.

I'm used to nice, simple PC-PIOS and chipset firmware version numbers. I would presume both of those are newer?

was wondering if you might have the firmware for the Olevia 237T? Or perhaps send me in the right direction to locate it?

I don't think it is still available anywhere. What is your firmware version and date stamp on it? You certainly do not want to overwrite your possibly newer version with an older version.

Where are you getting these firmware releases? How do you know what the date is? The screen doesn't seem to provide a date. Is there a tool to copy the existing firmware as a backup, in case of flashing an inappropriate FW?

Those firmwares are from 2006. It will be extremely difficult if not impossible to find any at this late date. Don't know of any way to backup your current firmware.
