Default Pixel orbiter

I have a Panasonic 42" G15 Plasma TV. Just what does the pixel orbiter do? I hear it helps prevent burn in. How does it work?

We have other threads on this. It shifts the entire picture one pixel width/height at a time and moves then up to 4 pixels away in cycle, so that the same image is not using the same pixel constantly. This is how it helps prevent burn in or Image Retention.
