I've been using a 37" Vizio, and I'm a huge fan of the PIP feature. I'm thinking about upgrading to a larger set, but it seems hardly anyone is supporting PIP, and it's a pain to research those who do, eg. for Samsung, it seems PIP means "let you watch our built-in tuner alongside one other source of input", which is incredibly lame (at least Vizio lets you combine any so long as you aren't watching 2 Component or 2 HDMI at the same time).
I've looked at other Vizio options but I'm also interested in LED and the only LED TV they make is 55", which is bigger than I'm looking to go. Does anyone know what other manufacturers are supporting PIP, and to what extent, and in what models? Can anyone recommend a 42"-50" set in the $1K-$2K range with decent PIP, preferably LED? Thanks, Dan. |

I'm surprised any TV manufacturer supports PIP nowadays. I had TVs in the past that had PIP but I never used it.

My Tv does not offer PiP, but, the Dish Network receiver I'm using provides PiP, so I still get it.

Without one, it is not a television! I think that is why they include them.
