Default Looking for small 9"-12" lcd tv

I have an old 9" tube tv in the kitchen that is on it's last legs and I would like to replace it. Unfortunately no manufacturer seems to make an lcd this small. The only thing I can find is a Coby 10" but I have not read anything good about them. I also can't do under-the-counter. I figure 12" is about as large as I can go. Anyone know of anything?

Thanks.

Lee, thanks for the reply but that one has been discontinued. It also has the speakers on the side that bump the overall width to 15" which is larger than I want to go.

You have portable DVD players, many with tuners, some even digital.

But you've made the observation that this is Coby's nitch.

These are interesting but every one of them say "We regret that this item is not available at this time."

I guess there isn't enough of a market for small TVs to make it worth while for the manufactures to build them. The portable DVD with tuner may be my only option. The Coby is the other option but I sure would like to see one or get some positive feedback before buying.

Another option would be to buy a used 9" tube TV on EBay or Craigslist. Sometimes you'll find them with a built-in VCR but the TV is still fairly narrow.

I saw a 9" or 10" LCD tv in the display case at Big Lots ( ) the other day. I can't remember what brand it was. I'll try to look next time I drive that way again.

EDIT: Looks like my memory is faulty. It was a 7" LCD made by Curtis. It looks like their LCDs are too small for you and their CRTs are too large (13").
