Turn on the TV and the first 15 seconds are wasted showing you a page you don't want advertizing things on the TV. Have to press exit or wait 15 seconds to go to TV.

Remembers when Comcast used to take you to "Comcast Channel" on turn on.

Wonders if there will be a way to disable this feature?

Wonders if the roll out of this will finally fix the delay in changing channels?

So, for about a week I have been getting unwatchable pixellation and no sound and then a shutoff (Network COnnection Failure VOD191) for any On Demand shows on Showtime or HBO on my 7232 Living Room box.
Finally I thought this isn't going away so I tried the the bedroom STB (7100-2) and was THRILLED that I could get HBO On Demand. AND that probably meant no need for spending hours with a tech and a home visit, etc., etc. You guys know the drill.

So this morning I "pulled it out and plugged it back in" and the DVR rebooted and I was able to get Game of Thrones On Demand...YESSSS!

So never forget the best first try. It works as often as not.

I have a strange sound issue...When I watch certain movies live or from a DVR recording, some of the very loud sounds like explosions for example cause a "crackling" sound on top of the normal audio.

When I watch the same movies through On Demand I do not hear this crackling. Also, I don't hear it when watching Blu-Ray. So I doubt it's the speakers in my TV (Panasonic Viera 1080p).

I already rebooted my set top box and ONT as well as changed the audio settings on my TV. I've had FIOS with the same TV for over a year and this just started happening a few weeks ago.
