i do check the site from time to time to see how you are all going! im going to try to become a more active user going forward. just been so busy

with all the buzz of the ps4, wii U and newly announced xbox one, ive found myself addicted to indy and ios games lately. you all need to check out the game super hexagon, its becomming one of my favourite games of all time (its also available on steam). The premise is simple, you control a little triangle that rotates around a hexagon, you need to avoid the incoming walls, if you survive for 60 seconds you pass the level. There are 3 to begin and 3 unlockable, I have passed all 6. It seems impossible to begin with but you will get there in the end. Give it a go!!!

also the music is absolutely KICK ASS!!!!!! love it

once again, nice to be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so I have been havong some major major computer issues with a very expensive piece of equipment and during a bunch of trials and tribulations I came across a wonderful piece of software that may help one of you out down the line.

The Situation:
Windows in safe mode will not le you uninstall programs as the code that loads MSI is disabled.

The Solution:
A free source program named safeMSI.exe which can be found at numerous d/l hosts can be loaded and clicked on and viola you cvan access MSi and un-install/remove programs in safe mode (handy for ones that give you a BSOD and won't even let windows boot regularly). For those of you who already know about this no biggie but for those who don't I recommend getting your hands on this.

On my phone excuse my jkk-ish typos ;p

So might be a change in my household that will require me use a laptop for x-amount of time per day. Also good to have one for when I start classes this fall. I don't follow laptops as closely as desktops so I'm asking for opinions since I'm sure you guys may use laptops more than me. I have strict guidelines.

Budget $1000 the less the better
Size smaller is better most likely at home hooked up to a monitor + KB/m.
CPU dual Intel or quad amd, Intel of course preferred.
Gaming I know but budget pigeon holes me to gt650m or cfx 7660m+7670m but I did see two shiny ones with hd7970m or sli gt650m. Right now I'm leaning 7970 but it has a dinky and a8 CPU. Guessing sli 650m might be better. Kharaa any info on multigpu laptops?

I'm not aiming for high gaming I'd be happy with 720p med/high and I know wow won't do that on an amd CPU.

If you guys know any deals or something let me know. Here are the two top contenders right now but not too happy on price:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834152372

Oh just saw this one more reasonable don't need an i7 in a laptophttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312438

However I'd love to go cheaper...like $600 :D

One Electronic Arts developer has taken to Twitter to sound off on the struggling Wii U. As spotted by IGN, EA senior software engineer and architect Bob Summerwill did not hold back when expressing his feelings for the platform.

"The Wii U is crap," Summerwill said, before deleting that tweet and all others. "Less powerful than an Xbox 360. Poor online/store. Weird tablet. Nintendo are walking dead at this point."

"Sony, MS, Apple, Google all following the same playbook," he added. "Standard, powerful, hardware, with focus on software and services."

Summerwill suggested that Nintendo should have exited the hardware business and instead shopped around its major titles to Microsoft and Sony.

"Nintendo are still operating like it's 1990," he said. "They should have 'done a Sega' and offered Mario/Zelda as PS4/Durango exclusives. Instead they make this awful console. Just stop it! Just make great games!"

Summerwill has worked at EA in a number of technical roles since 1999.

His comments came a day after EA confirmed that after releasing four games for Wii U, the publisher has no new titles in development for the system. By comparison EA supported the original Wii throughout its lifespan with 78 total games.

Nvidia’s dual-GPU behemoth, the GeForce GTX 690, has been out in the wild for over a year now, but the equally freakishly expensive GTX Titan has outsold it in less than three months. Now either the GTX 690 sold a pifflingly small amount (quite possibly) or the GTX Titan has been better received than even Nvidia thought.

According to Nvidia, it’s the latter.

I had a chat with Ben Berraondo, the senior PR manager for GeForce, about the GTX Titan earlier this week. “Even we were surprised just how popular the Titan was. And still is,” he said. “Titan sold a lot more than the GTX 690, for example. It’s still selling very well.”

With a $72.7 billion fortune, Gates is now $550 million ahead of Slim (who has a net worth of $72.1 billion), according to Bloomberg. This is the first time Gates has earned the biggest billionaire status since 2007.
Gates has seen his fortune grow about $10 billion over the past few months, according to Bloomberg. The increase came not so much from Microsoft stock -- only a quarter of Gate's fortune in invested in Microsoft -- but rather from other financial holdings and private investments.
While Gates has a $72.7 billion fortune, he has donated more than $28 billion to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which works on the eradication of polio, malaria, and other dangerous diseases.

The article also goes on to say that Carlos Slim may see his fortune even further decline as the Mexican government is about to pass a law that would prohibit a company from owning more than 50% of the market. Slim's telecom company currently owns over 70% of the mobile market and 80% of the landline market.

Reseburg added that "many players didn't respond to the format," despite EA going on record months after instituting Online Passes, reporting it had not seen a "significant" backlash. "We've listened to the feedback and decided to do away with it moving forward."
The Online Pass, a one-time use code required for online play, was first introduced in 2010 with the intent of being exclusive to EA Sports games, though it quickly escalated from there. Online Pass revenue generated between $10-$15 million for EA in its first year alone.

The retail Windows version accommodates higher-resolution textures beyond the consoles versions, and will support video cards capable of running DirectX 1, allowing for further graphical improvements to the game. In this article we are going to look at DirectX 11 class graphics performance measured with no less than 18 graphics cards from AMD (Radeon) and NVIDIA (GeForce).

In Last Light, 4As textures are predominantly 2048 pixels wide by 2048 pixels high, double the resolution of textures in many of today's best-looking games. Using these 2048x2048 textures at range creates highly detailed distance views, and up-close with the introduction of a second 2048x2048 texture the visual quality of surfaces skyrockets, hence we really want you to use Very High Quality mode.

Our test setup is based on Intel X79 (MSI Big bang XPower II) with 8 GB of DDR3 ( Corsair 1600 MHz) memory. The processor is a Core i7 3960X clocked at 4600 MHz.
We use Windows 7 64-bit SP1 all patched up. Each card runs on the same PC with the same operating system clone. GeForce cards use the latest 320.14 WHQL drivers (download) and for AMD Radeon graphics cards we used the latest 13.5 Beta build 2 driver (download). Both NVIDIA and AMD have released these drivers being optimized for Crysis 3.

The US Department of Homeland Security seized a payment processing account Tuesday belonging to Mt. Gox, the largest international Bitcoin trader, claiming the monetary exchange service falsified financial documents.

The American government has previously made it clear that officials are watching Bitcoin, a decentralized economic currency that international regulators have not yet been able to control. Many of those who favor Bitcoin use Dwolla, an Iowa-based startup that allows customers to transfer their dollars into Bitcoins.

Unfortunately for those consumers, the Department of Homeland Security issued a warrant Tuesday effectively shutting down Dwolla’s ability to process Bitcoin payments, as reported by CNET. Whether because of the DHS’ charge of operating an “unlicensed money transmitting business,” the sudden timing of the allegations, or another reason, Dwolla and Mt. Gox officials have been reluctant to comment.

Loved the way Season 4 climaxed with the Cartel being wasted, and Gus getting his face blown off. Loved how he had to adjust his tie collapsing and dying in the hospital hallway. Awesome.

He was probably one of my favorite characters. Although Saul is a classic Douche.
