When he watches TV, he always ends up on a SD channel number thusly watches the program in SD vice HD. When I am there and point it out to him, we select the channel again, then when prompted to watch in HD, hit select again... ONLY THEN DO WE HAVE HD. He always forgets to do this.. I am a Directv person and can set up my guide so that only HD channels are available.. Can something like this be done with the Comcast system? I am sure he watches almost everything in SD not knowing that it exists in HD..
