So that's the one I'm thinking of getting but I wondered something from those who have it. Does the xbox send audio through HDMI AND RCA at the same time or will I need to constantly be switching back and fourth. I only want to use these headsets at night to play things like Modern Warfare while my wife is sleeping.

I've hardly been able to do MP on my 360 because she wakes up at 5am and I feel bad making a ton of noise and as you all know FPS's and such are hard to play at low volumes because sound is so vital.


At worst, my guess is I can leave the HDMI hooked up and the headsets hooked up and just tell the xbox to output to RCA when I want to use the headsets, and output to HDMI when I want my reciever on. "Borderland" - Sal's game of the year.

the new IP from Gearbox was simply perfect in every way from start to finish and offered hours of replay value and endless items to aquire. there is not one single aspect of this game that didnt wow me (except for the endgame). great story, great visual representation, and awesome play mechanics.

I need to move the xbox to another floor in the house, which will mean I will have to purchase the wireless adapter. I just feel it may be time for the switch.
I do love my halo, and gears of war, but I know that the PS3 has some pretty amazing games also, so I'm not to worried about that.
I was wondering if anyone here has made the switch, and how they felt about it? 2 of my concerns, are the controller, and the online play. Do you eventually get used to the controller, or are you wanting the 360 controller back? When I have played the PS3, I wasn't to crazy about the dual shock, but would hopefully get used to it. Everyone says that Xbox live is better, but then they mention the chat, and some other features. I just want to play games. Not worried about chatting, or features, so how is the gameplay and finding games?

Once I got COD6 MW2 it started to fritz out on me. It would freeze on screen and then I'd restart and it would do the same. Finally got it to work and it was working fine for a week.

Then I had it working two days ago didn't play for a day and today got the dreaded ROD.

I guess the reason for this thread is this. Is it worth sending it back to Xbox? Will they fix it or will they send another unit back to me? if they send another unit will it be brand new or refurbished or used? If it is used or refurbished I am not interested in sending mine back.

I have not owned or played very much of either game. I do have the PSP one and loved it. But I am reading online where many PS3 owners are mad due to the fact that they are having to rebuy games they already own. Which brings me to my question???? Why did Playstation take out the backwards compatibilty when they knew that was one of the best things about the PS2? Why are they not going to let PSP owners port over their UMD games if they get the PSP go???? Why not give a discount for trading in the older versions of games????

Nintendo made the Wii backwards compatible and now that they are enhancing older games if you notice they come out at a pretty decent price. Xbox did the same things through updates.... most of the best games for the system are playable and you can also buy those games as digital versions for a flat price $20. so if they can do it what sropped the PS3 with all the room that a blue ray has????

To put figures to this, some of my freinds at game stop showed me the figures for the PSPgo currently it has sold on 20, 000 unit the US. I even have people on other forums that did not even know it was out. So what does everyone else think about it??? do you think Playstation has made some bad mistakes???? i dont really know what i would be using all the gigs for. i dont plan on paying to download movies on it but may download a couple games but it will mostly be used for playing games and watching blu ray movies i rent. what else would i use the gigs for? does the ps3 save game progress to the actual hardrive so i dont need a memory card? i usually beat a game and sell it. how much space does that take if so? are there any big benefits to getting the slim over an older mode?l is 60 gigs enough for someone like me or should i just go ahead and get the 120 gig slim?
