Default Dish 1000.2

If I get a Dish 1000.2 dish, can I get 129 in zip code 28629, Glendale Springs, NC? Right now I have a Dish 500 dish and am missing some HD channels.

Thanks,

Chris

If I'm not mistaken, you would need a 1000.4 dish for the eastern arc.

But does Dish 1000.4 get 110 and 119 also, or just 77, 72, 61.5?

No, but anything on 110 and 119 are also on 72. But you need HD receivers to see them.

I have two VIP211's and one VIP211K. Would those work? When I go into setup it allows me to select Dish 300, Dish 500, and Super. Which would I use for 1000.4?

Also, the Dish 500 dish azimuth is 233. I looked at the Dish Network support sight and saw that Dish 1000+ says azimuth is 130. Is that what the 1000.4 would be?

Thanks!!

Chris

Heck, to align that 1000.4, I would contract a local satellite (Dish) installer to set it up. It will certainly be worth the expense as setting up one by yourself without any signal tools would be frustrating at best.
