Default Where is ThrillerMax HD?

I am new to the Dish Network... I migrated from Cox Cable after purchasing a home. I used to get all the multiplex channels of Cinemax, but now I only get a few of the Cinemax plex. I am really disappointed since ThrillerMax is one of my fav channels.
I thought Satellite was better than cable but...

Each provider has their own contracts. Dish cannot show a channel they do not pay for. As to the reasons Dish does not have TrillerMax HD, you would only be able to get that answer from either Dish or Cinemax. Since Dish does not have TrillerMax in sd either would lead one to believe that Cinemax wants too much money for it and/or Dish does not see "enough compelling content" scheduled on the channel. If enough of it's content is shown on the other Cinemax channels, that would probably be the closest explanation as to why Dish does not have it IMO.
