Default HD changes-sat. uplinks
Thought I would begin a thread showing satellite uplink changes. Since Ciel-2 is up and running, new local HD spotbeams are being lit up daily. These usually indicate the beginning of HD service for a local station or national network. Info is from Satellite Guys

Satellite Provider Now Offers HD Locals in 107 Markets Covering 84 Percent of U.S. Households

WHAT: DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), the digital television leader, today announced the addition of high definition local channels in six new markets.

WHERE: Boise, Idaho; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Harlingen-Weslaco-Brownsville-McAllen, Texas; Las Vegas, Nev.; Peoria, Ill.; and Reno, Nev.

WHEN: HD local channels became available to new and existing DISH Network® subscribers at approximately 5 p.m. ET on March 4, 2009.
