Default DVR question

If and when you get a HD DVR hooked up through Dish, (they say 175 bucks to have it installed) is there a DVR lease fee and a monthly 5.99 DVR fee?

Depending on the package, there is a receiver lease fee, a dvr fee and if a dual tuner: an additional tuner fee if not hooked up to a phone line or dsl via eithernet.

1. Install s/be free
2. there is NO lease fee for the primary receiver on an account
3. DVR Advantage lowers dvr fee to a couple bucks.

Call a local retailer !!!!!!!!

Call a local Retailer. And, we'll check your receiver in the store for free. If you can reach your LNBF, we'll check it for free too!!!!

Did you verify the serial number of the ViP722 with Dish? Many of those sold on eBay are actually the property of Dish. Very few have been sold outright.

Could you expound on a couple of things? If the install is free, how much should I have to pay up front? Also what is DVR advantage? Thanks isn advance. I have heard two different things from two different CSRs.
