New HD Channels Starting 5/12/2008

Congrats guys. All I want on the list of your new channels that Direct currently does not have is the Travel Channel.

I'm working at home right now, so I had only a few minutes to turn on the TV and breeze through the new HD channels (wow!). As a tennis enthusiast, I noticed that I am not getting the Tennis Channel in HD, so I assume that is an AT250 channel (I have AT200). No problem -- I'll just upgrade if want it that bad. Does anybody know offhand if any of the other new HD channels are for AT250 subs only?

Can't tell...I had to upgrade to get the NHL Playoffs on VS.

I think you misunderstood? I wasn't listing who doesn't and does have what; I was stating of those that Dish currently added that Direct still doesn't have, Travel would be the only one I want. IOW, I don't care if Direct gets WFN or 5-Max.

Forced download three times, the guide info is still not there for Smith, MGM, Tennis, and WFN channels.

Oops.. sorry. But in that case you might like some of the Vooms. Monsters and Rave are watched almost everyday around here. I also have a friend who always needs to look at Kung Fu when he stops by. Nobody likes everything on Voom but I would hate to loose these channels. Not all of them anyway.

I am only seeing about an hour ahead right now too. It happens all the time for me too.

I don't worry about it as I know the whole 9 days will be there in the morning.

CNN/SCIFI only went live a few weeks ago. CNN was a bit out of the blue and SciFi/USA appeared when we were promised ESPNHD and CartoonNetworkHD.

Can't wait to get home tomorrow and check them out.

Decent additions but adding The Speed Channel in HD would have been the icing on the cake. This is the one I want!!! Come on DISH get with it!
