Sound off here to let Dish know they MUST begin Speed HD by the 5/17 NASCAR All-Star Race.

you can forget that, since FOX owns SPEED and they are suing Dish Network. The only way they will get SPEED I believe is if Dish takes all of the FOX channels in HD under contract

looks like Dish has decisions to make and so do we. If it was not for the ability to record shows and watch them on all my tv's i would be long gone. Right now Dish has better equipment, but if you can not watch the shows you want to watch what good is it. If we do not get speed AND the other Fox channels in HD soon i will be gone. Patience is wearing out.

dont get me wrong here, I would love to have SPEED in HD, but I dont think it will happen until next year or MAYBE after the other two sats go up, should they be successful launches. But like I said, they need to avoid litigation and just sign on to carry the FOX channels like FOX wants. Even if they make SPEED an MPEG4 SD channel, it would still be an improvement over the MPEG2

In the many hours of SPEED broadcasting leading up to Daytona they bragged about being in HD, not so on Dish....
I have never seen Nationwide and Sprint Cup actual races on Speed except when they rebroadcast them Thursday afternoons.

You are asking in the wrong place, since all of us have Dish...thus nobody has Speed in HD. Here is a link to some of their programming:

They were talking about the 100 hours of Speedweeks coverage leading up to the Daytona 500, not for the whole season. They were talking about practices, the twin 150's, event promoting programs, etc...

The only Sprint Cup races you will see on Speed are the Twin 150 races in Daytona in Feb and the All Star race. However, they broadcast the ARCA, some WoO, Hooters Pro Cup, Forumula 1, Rolex Sports Car Series, LeMans races too. I forgot about Motorcross too and dont forget CORR

I hate to tell you this 18, but I think you might be disappointed for a little while longer. Dish has uplinked several HD channels but Speed was not one of them, however I read that they uplinked 16 more "test" channels that are presumably HD, but I don't think anyone knows for sure.
