Default How Do I Delete/Hide Channels?

Sorry, been away from this forum for a while. I have so many HD channels in my line up now. I want to delete or hide the ones that are off-air. How do I do this? Thanks.

Under the Locks. You need to lock the channels you don't want to see, then lock the system and they disappear.

Lightbulb Make your own favorites guide...

I suggest you make your own guide comprised only of your favorite channels...

I believe it's in the system setup area. Not sure exactly where (I'm @ work now), but it's pretty straight foreward... I'm sure if you look, you'll figure it out~

Thanks. I started doing this last night but I didn't want to hose anything up. I thought I should ask this forum first.

No, Dish default listings cannot be modified. If you lock the system after locking channels and selecting Hide Locked, the locked channels will not appear in the any of the various guide listing nor will they appear in any searches.

Yes.. It's best to just create a favorites list. Just the channels you want to see. I know thats a chore. You will be happier later. That is, until new channels you want to see come out. Then you will need to add to it.

I figure over the next couple of years, all of us will go crazy with adjusting the HD favorites list. Especially with map down channels.

PS.. Anyone knows when JennaHD gets launched?
