Default Will a 625 work with only one coaxial cable coming from Dish?

I was wondering if the 625 will work being hooked up to only one coaxial cable from the satellite Dish.....I only need it to run one TV and I don't care about the dual tuner function. My other coaxial line from the dish is dedicated to another receiver that I do not want to replace.....

Any dual tuner receiver will not work properly if check switch fails, which it will with only one tuner hooked up. If you use a DishProPlus lnb, you would only need to run one line and use a separator directly behind the receiver. If you don't have a DPP head, you can use both lines to the 625 and run rf output to where other receiver is and replace that one and save yourself the additional receiver charge, plus sell other receiver (if you own it) and have a bit of extra money for whatever.
