I am trying to hook up my Dish 811 HDTV IRD to my 2 year old 52" RCA HDTV TV. I currently hook up the 811 via component video and it works great, but my TV has only one component video input. I would like to move the 811 to the DVI output, but my TV only has "Digital VGA" inputs. I tried to use a DVI to VGA adapter, but the pins are arranged different on the plug and will not fit on my 811. Is there any way to hook this up and get all the HD channels?
Thanks |

I'd try shopping around at the Computer Cable Store's web site...
www.computercablestore.com If you can't find what you're looking for, email them. |

You will need a Component to VGA transcoder, which runs about $300. Key Digital makes several versions, and you can find one that works for you. If you do a search for key digital you will find it easily. Hopes this helps. It is what I needed to purchase for my 811 rcvr to run a projector I have that only has a VGA in. I just hokked it up today and it works perfect.
