Default 622 and OTA problem

I've had my 622 receiver hooked up to OTA since the middle of February and it'd been working great up until a couple weeks ago. My CBS affiliate broadcasts it's HD content on 13.1, although it never did send out programming detail. No biggie, but now my 622 won't lock onto the signal anymore. If I unplug the antenna from the 622 and plug it directly into the tv I get the signal at 98% and everything is fine. Plug it back into the 622 and it won't lock on and all I get is an error message that says the signal has been lost. Been that way for a while now. It's the only channel that does this. All other OTA channels come in fine with the lowest strength being 98%. I'm 19 miles from the transmittor with a clear line of sight. I'm in Stockton, Ca - area code 95219. Anyone else out there run into this with the 622 before?

One other thing. If I go into the menu to add the local channels and manually try to add it, it does show a signal strength of 97% or better. It just won't lock on. All the other channels lock on why I input the physical channel number. It seems like it's getting the signal at a good strength, but just can't figure out a way to make it work.

I'm frustrated and confused.

Have you contacted the station to see if they are having problems. Perhaps they are the culprit.

If I wasn't able to receive the signal when the antenna was hooked up directly to the tv I would guess that it's a station issue. The fact that I can get the signal via the tv directly, but the 622 can't lock on tells me it's something about the tuner in the 622.

Default Antenna

Is it just that one channel or is it the same with the other channels locals as well? Does it not lock onto any?

The CBS channel is the only channel I'm not getting via the 622. With the antenna hooked up directly to the tv I get it fine. All other channels work both ways.

Did your CBS affiliate goose their signal recently?

If you're located fairly close to their broadcast tower, and they recently started broadcasting a stronger signal... I think that could cause some issues with reception (i.e. the 622 OTA tuner might not be able to handle the juice).
