Since this is only my fourth post the site won't let me post a link yet.
Go to Dish's website. Click "TV Schedule" at the top. Then scroll down to find the Channel lineup Cards.

It's either incomplete or there is a great deal of misinformation about their HD lineup. They say on website that HD Gold has "over 55 channels" but if you count the number of channels on card there are: 24 Bronze, 8 silver, and 8 Gold for a total of only 40 Gold Channels. Anybody know what's up with that?

How does it effect what I' watching and if this is a good thing,(simply),how do I make the most out of it? I'm 57 and new to this stuff and less than 1 year of owning a PC. Help

Default channel lineup

type "channel lineup" in the dish search box. i believe the second link down takes you to their channel lineup cards in pdf format. you can now also call cust service and request it sent to you via e-mail or by traditional usps.

Default Platinum HD

I've been all over the DISH website trying to find what exactly I'm paying $10/month for Platinum HD. Can anyone please list how many & what channels are included is this package? I cannot find it!

They don't have Platinum HD anymore. If you're STILL being billed, you may be "grandfathered" with the original Platinum Package. You should call them to find out.

Everyone is getting that package for free almost now. call and tell them. I got it for free for life. But I'm a new member but I read they were giving it away to other members too. that package is NOT worth 10 bucks. Used to directv and dish had these packages for 10 bucks because there were no hd channels and people would pay it to watch some high def on their new high def tv. Back when high def was still impressive. Now all your regular channels are in high def and we are used to it.

The package is okay for free and I might watch something occasionally. I like the crime channel included on it. But I would never pay for it. And all I watch on that is Nash Bridges. It's set to my dvr every night because I love that show.

Anyone missing any local HD channels? I have the local channels option in the Washington DC area but Dish doesn't carry WETA, the local PBS affiliate, in HD
