That's weird, I was quoted $200. Have the "Everything Pack" what do you have?

That was the case from the beginning, now you can watch recordings made on one Hopper from the other Hopper using a drop down menu.

Glad to see this thread is now a "Sticky." We are really enjoying our Hoppers and even more now with the new integration.

The integration itself has some good features. When you go to playback a show that has been paused on both hoppers it asks you which location to play from and shows you the point in the program it was paused on each one.

Welp, about an hour away from a 2 Hopper, 3 Joey, 5 HD TVs upgrade appointment.
Wish me luck!

You'll be glad you went for it! Make sure the installer knows to download the software to the Hoppers first before downloading to any Joey. The downloading is usually the most time consuming part of the installation. Good Luck!

No luck here. The 12-5PM install window online at Dish now shows a 6:28PM arrival time for the installer. Just how late do these poor guys work each day?
Horrible service by Dish, I could have gone to work today instead of hanging at the house.

Just a follow up to my install.
2 installers finally got to my house at 6:30PM. Apparently the guy who was supposed to do my install got stuck in a bad install sitiuation or something. Anyway, the guys were great, quickly replaced my 2 rooftop Dishes with a single unit and got the 2 Hoppers and 3 Joeys loaded and operating by 8:30. Everything works fantastic so far. Better late than never I always say.

Hopper question. I get the Hopper will turn off warning message due to system being idle very quickly it seems. Cant even watch a single sporting event without the popup and having to cancel Hopper shut down.
Is the timer setting adjustable anywhere?
TIA.

Yes, you can set the time. It's buried deep in the Settings menus. I'm at work now, maybe someone else can give you the exact place if you can't find it.

Press the Yellow Hot Key on your remote to display the settings menu. Select Diagnostics and then select Updates. The default setting is 2 hours. You can change the duration for a longer period of time or disable the feature.

This feature will activate if you have not used your remote for the selected duration, even if you are watching TV. If you have further questions, please let me know. Thanks.

Default Buggy Software

I have had my hopper not always record my shows even though I have a timer for all new shows. Also, I just clicked on an icon of a saved show and there was a movie behind it on a totally different channel. Lots of bugs with the hopper.
