Default 811 Receiver dead after only a couple of hours!?!

So I finally got my dish installed, and was enjoying finally having some high def channels. Then suddenly my 811 receiver stopped working. It was as if someone unplugged it. I tried it on a few different outlets (outlets which work fine for other things) and it still didn't work. So now I have to wait for Dish to send me a new receiver.

The frustrating thing is, I got dish primarily for Formula One on Sunday mornings, and now it will take three business days to get a new receiver. So I'll miss yet another race while waiting on a new receiver.

• Toshiba W528 HiFi VCR (for my few remaining video cassettes)
• Dish Network with 211 receiver (HDMI and component video for when the HDMI doesn't work and digital optical audio)

Default

Update: The local installer just gave me a loaner 811 box until my new one arrives. So I'll be able to watch my race afterall. This box doesn't have most of the HD channels activated, but it's okay. It better than having no Dish at all.
