Default New promotion coming July 21

I am going to be switching back to D* (made a mistake and tried UVerse). The AT&T representative told me that effective July 21, D* will up the ante a bit by offering 5 free months of the premium channels (HBO, Showtime, etc.). I don't know what else they are going to include, but I'm going to wait until then to call back and find out.

Should we call and make a request or it will just pop up on our programming?

Why would a AT&T rep be talking up D* ????

Don't know what shows you are going to be watching on SHO, etc. For my money, the only pay service worth its weight is HBO for their original programing. The rest of it is mostly crap where if you brain is older than 18, you will gag.

AT&T and Directv have some sort of parternership now.....I know as an AT&T employee, they are giving $10 off per month on Directv. AND, take this with a grain of salt, I am nothing but a minion at AT&T, but in a meeting last month, we were told that because of this new partership, that they were "rethinking their UVerse strategy" and a possible "takeover/purchase of Directv" could be "possible"

You will have to buy, on monthly payments, the NFL sunday ticket to get that programming promo. You usually have to be gone at least a year and I think its two to be eligible for new customer promos.

It's an offer they make to new customers that are just signing up.

It won't just pop up on your programming if you are a DIRECTV customer.

Yes, I think the 5 mos. deal is if you sign for the Sun. ticket.

AT&T allows you to bundle D*, cell, and dsl on your bill and recieve a discount also.

I've got QWEST phone, QWEST DSL, and DIRECTV TV. They bundle it all for me on one bill. It's pretty nice.

Call your phone provider or go to their website and see if they offer this.

Call AT&T and tell them you would like to bundle your services.
You will receive a $5/mo. discount on your cell and your dsl I believe.
