New to Direct TV and Rebate

I have often got forms in the mail about signing up for Direct TV and get a year for say 34.00 a month. So to cut down on my bills, I called and signed up. My first bill came in and it was much higher. I called the company and they credited me some of the money. Well, the same thing continued to happen and I continued to call. Month 3, Direct TV finally tells me that I have to sign a REBATE form in order to get the discount. No one ever mentioned a Rebate form as many times as I have called them. So I called and told them to disconnect my service and they said gladly for 20.00 a month for the remaining months, which I cannot afford. Their customer service was very poor. Is there anything at all except continue to pay the large amount about this bill?

They are giving me exactly what they promised....actually $5 more of a monthly reduction than they promised for the first 12 months. They sent me an e-mail link to go to to redeem the discount. I did that and I now have their confirmation in writing.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with them.

Give Direct another call and ask if you can still use the rebate form. If so, fill out the form and send it to the correct address. Always check for rebates before signing up for services.
