I have slim line dish with built in 4 multi switch. can i run 2 more hd receivers, i already have a dvr hooked up that requires 2 cables. do all hd receivers require 2 cables. can i use the old cables that are currently hooked to the tv or do i need special ones .

You 2 need the 2 cables if you have a DVR. If they are non-DVR receivers you only need 1 wire for each.

Or stated another way, you can run one more DVR or two non-DVR receivers without needing another multiswitch.
If the existing cables are rg6, they are fine to reuse. |
