It's just the standard price increase they do every year.

It's got nothing to do with layoffs, economy, less subscribers, blah, blah, blah.

Everyone is reading way to much into this.

I don't think you really have a choice to pay the price increase or not pay the price increase.
It's not a proposed price increase for you to vote yes or no on.

I dont have a problem with it I mean, as long as they keep adding more channels / more HD.

Of course you have that choice. But the choice to not pay also comes with the choice to give up the service.

It does seem like a modest increase. When compared to inflation, they are still a bit low in thier raises. But if the price increase is too much for your wallet, there are competetors.

Maybe so.

But compared to the expected growth in household wages in 2009? I don't think too many people other than those under a CBA guaranteeing them a COLA can count on a raise this year. And that assumes they're fortunate enough to still have a job.

Unhappy Come on

They say we need to spend money,
although the increasing in prices of these services
doesn't motivate us.

Most of the increases are $3. That's less than 10 cents a day. If that puts a financial burden on your budget, then you are completely out of touch with what really matters.

Here's an idea. Buy stock in McDonalds. The proceeds will lessen any sting of the D-TV price increases.

If the increase is to much for your wallet get a job shoveling sidewalks and/or cutting grass to cover this huge financial burden.

There's a guy at work that says his wife(aka mommy) probably won't let him buy this or that. I told him to get a paper route to earn extra money & start his own savings account to buy his own things.

Comcast prices are super high. When I left them my bill for eveything was 152.00 a month. They gave me that great deal for a whole year. BS if you ask me. Then when the year past my bill was 50% higher. I will pay the increase anyday. I have everything D offers and I still pay less then I ever did with Comcast.

You have everything D offers ?
You must have all the premium movie channels, all the sports packages including football, baseball, basketball, cricket, playboy TV, all the international programming, babyfirst channel, HD packages.
What does that cost you per month ?
