Question TV/DirecTV Format? Screen too big!

Ok...we've tried everything, so I thought I'd come to you fine folks.

The setup:

Pioneer Elite PRO-141-FD monitor
DirecTv HR22-100 receiver
Bose v30 Lifestlye
Using HDMI cables

No matter what resolution or screen size we set the DirecTv to, the menus, channel guides, and picture all run off the top and sides of the display.

If NBC has a logo on the bottom of the screen or there are subtitles, etc., these are partially off the bottom of the screen and unreadable. When I pull up the channel guide, the graphics go off the screen on top, bottom, and both sides. Etc., etc.

Can someone help with the exact settings to get the screen to fit correctly? I have a great TV and it's phenomenal for BD DVD's, but for my DirecTv, it's a mess.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!!!

The problem has to be with your screen format settings on the Directv box or within your TV. Have any of these handy?

Check page 77 of your manual.
Also check that you Auto-size is set to off or native, not wide zoom.

I found both of these here: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PU...1FD.Kuro?tab=B

I bet it has to be a setting with your TV. I find that if I have my TV set to zoom, I get the same exact effect you are talking about. Turning your zoom off should fix the problem.

yes and no.

The TV was fine, but there was a setting on the Bose that was set to ZOOM. It took forever to find it, but all is well now.

THANKS for the suggestions and help!!
