What are you expecting in the "next batch" ?

They've got 100 or so nation wide HD channels now.

VH1-HD Channel 335, been on the DIRECTV lineup for about a year now.

How long have you been waiting for DIRECTV to add VH1 HD ?

you pick on a guy that didn't know about vh1-hd. I wonder how many people don't know about a lot of channels. They don't automatically show up, at least not on my boxes. People have to go find them. No one tells you about it. So if you aren't over the top about it and going on sites like these, you wouldn't know a lot of little things that make dtv great. Thankfully I am into it a little, and am mechanically inclined with this stuff. Getting the info out better would be my only complaint I would have with dtv and making us pay extra for that little tier of hd channels. They would have even more happy customers if they would be more informative, maybe keeping the price of the service down.

Maybe someone will answer your question when they find out. No one here knows when.

There's a full list of channels at the DIRECTV website.

You can go throught the channels lists in setup on the receiver box.

The guy named several channels and you got your rocks off by going after him about only one of the channels he named. So, basically, you added credibility to his post because he is still waiting on the HD versions of the channels he named.

bobbo66,
You said the channels do not automatically "show up." If I look at the guide using the "guide" button do they show up? I just read these posts and have not checked it out yet. Thanks in advance, WolfpackRon.

I didn't "get my rocks off". Do you "get your rocks off" creating a reply on a forum ?

He named about 6 channels, didn't think of that as several channels.

One of the HD channels he named he's waiting for has been in HD for about a year now. I was just pointing that out.

Well.. 6 channels does fit into the definition of several quite well.... Several means more than 2, fewer than many... many being a large number.

....you definitely picked on him for not knowing, like everyone in the world knows everything.
