HD channels but no HD programming, why??

This is my first post, I am so annoyed about HD programming I actually signed up to this forum.

Anyways, here it goes. How many years does it take worthless channels like Vh1HD and MHD etc.. to finally get the clue and produce HD programming?? It seems everything they show is in a widescreen 185 aspect ratio, so obviously it was shot with an HD camera, but they compress it and downgrade it to SD into the the center of the HD channel and make it look like a SD channel even though it is on their HD channel? Am I missing something, its not that I want to watch the real world in HD, but if your going to have the channels in High Def why not display High def programming?? Where the F*&K is fox news in HD???? They have their worthless business channel in HD. I have to suck it up and watch CNN in HD. I hate CNN, but its so much better watching the correct aspect ratio in 1080i then some shitty downgraded compressed SD Fox News. Is anyone else annoyed by this?

Finally, I left Dish Network for 2 reasons, no CNN in HD, and about 10 more movie channels on Direct. Ever Since Voom died, I signed up to Dish in hopes of more HD programming, they have been sitting with almost the same HD line up as they had 4 years ago on Voom Satellite? So I signed up for Direct seeing as they where killing Dish with HD by 40 channels. I sold my 3 vip622's and got 3 hr21pro's in hope of 1080p channels, hasn't happened yet. Now I see some annoying commerical for Dish Extreme HD with like 150 HD channels in 1080p. Did they quadruple their bandwidth strength to MPeg 6 or 8????, because I don't see it happening. Basically I am ranting and I need to know if Dish will come to fruition with 1080p 150 channels or is it all BS. I need my meds now ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!1 I hate Sony and Standard Def tv. I pay for like 500 channels with Direct and I hate SD so much that I programmed only the good 60 HD channels and thats all I watch. I basically removed anything SD from my channel lists. Am I alone am I going crazy, is MTV, VH1, E, Fox, so behind and cheap that they can't produce HD programming. My shitty little local new stations have HD that looks almost 1080p and your telling me the high end channels wont flip the bill. I was so desperate for HD I would actually watch the Voom channels. It was ironic the only channel I like was Wealth HD and of course Dish never got that one.

I mean come on what the hell is going on am I taking crazy pills. If I ever watch Chris Angel ass freak on A&E HD in a stretched aspeect ratio again I will lose my mind. Are the producers of A&E and the show so stupid not to realize they are shooting SD and putting it on a HD channel. It makes me hate that guy more then anything. I actually started watching the 2 correys because of HD and I should slit my wrists for that, and their shows contrast is so off I swear my 6000.00 dollar 1080p/24 60 inch plasma is going bad. I canlt stope ytake the keyboard from me, I am ready to throw my Blugay player in the garbageeeeeeeeeee................................. .................................................. ..........................................

Ac3 decoding in my pants, if their going to have 1080p on dish, they sure as shit better include the new DTS-hd audio codecs. Or something lossless or 24 bit so my ears don't bleed. I didn't tri-amp/wire my speakers for nothing.

Directv has no control over the broadcaster's content, they just pass along what is sent to them. Maybe your complaints would have more impact in MTV/Fox/A&E/etc forums. And what is a "Blugay player"?
