If that's the only part you're contesting about my observations then I feel pretty good. Plus there is talk about grandfathering long time HD access customers.

Two different meanings for the word "view". I was implying point of view, not visual view.

I paid the 9.99 for two years just to get my locals channels, ESPN,HBO etc. in HD it was never about HD-NET, DISCOVERY and Universal HD it was the access to the HD world. I chose to pay this because I want to experiences the full capability of my 3k HD-TV otherwise it was just a big screen TV and a waste of money. I'm happy the channel we where ALREADY getting, are now broadcast in HD format(not many programs). However I'm not paying the 5.00 increase in fees for the these old four channels which I never really watch. I can now utilize my TV in the way it was meant and my family can now watch the programs they want in HD we only need access to HD not these four or five channels. I'm glad to pay the 9.99 HD access fee now because I do see value for the dollars spent where as before it was more vanity to justify to the wife the purchase of the TV with the lack of content we where receiving.

It's official no more stars in my words your are a jackass. Quit with you bitching and move on. You have no point other than 5 dollars more which has been addressed more than once. You don't like the answers so you continue with numbnut comments about nothing to do with anything about Directv or HD so you must be whipping it out and playing with it just to see your dumbass comments posted. Move on. Directv doesn't need customers like you who whine uncontrollably for no apparent reason other than to try and get some other cheapskate who can barely afford what they already have and bitch about the slightest increase when the company has incurred expenses in order to give the consumers what they want. If you don't want the fricken $5 increase don't pay it. Last comment from me on this thread unless you have some insight to a valid problem!

Just watched the 007 double feature on MGMHD. 5 bucks isn't a problem. I'd pay it for just this one channel alone. MGM done a great job on these two movies.

It’s your personal preferences, I prefer HDNet.

Nobody is arguing otherwise. Would you be willing to pay $5/month (approximately 17 cents per day) for just HDNet alone?
