Pause one channel, watch another

I have just gotten my HD upgrade today and it is SWEET! However, one thing I can't figure out. I used to have a Philips DirecTv TiVo (DSR7000) on which I could watch one channel, while pausing another and I could switch back and forth. So, I can watch channel A for a few minutes, pause it and watch channel B. Then switch back and forth between them while pausing the one I wasn't watching. Each channel would go back up to 30 minutes.

I now have a HR20-700...can I do the same thing with this?

Unfortunately this is one of the perks of the Tivo machine that the new DVR does not have.

So, is there a way to switch between satellites? i.e. if my picture is fuzzy on one, try the other? You could do that with the TiVo.

Sorry, Satellite does not fuzz up..... It either works of not. Or you can get pixelization.
Can't switch between tuners as of now.

i have had satellite for years...you can switch between satellite feeds as i have done so with my previous TiVo for years. when a storm comes, it is not unusual for one feed to be working somewhat OK while the other does not work at all.
