Does that mean if we subscribe to MLB extra innings and were to watch a game on FSNY or MSG we would be able to see it in HD or do we still need to subscribe to the SuperFan package?

I'm going to venture to guess that if FSNY or MSG, is your local regional sports network you won't need a superfan package. If your not you'll need the MLB extra innings, and it should remain unblocked, the only think you'll the superfan for will be the teams, that might have HD games that are spot beam to the local area, DTV may provide national coverage for that came with superfan.

That's atleast my interpretation of, based on what i've read and heard.

For clarity, I am in SoCal and these are out of market games. I do have MLB extra innings (I watch games on these channels all of the time in SD), but I do not have the Superfan package.

If you have MLB and the sports pack, they will not black out the SD feeds, i'm sure it will work the same for simulcast HD games, but HD games that don't have a simulcast or the SD channel doesn't broadcast in HD 24/7, you'll probably need the superfan package.

Just to clarify, this my guess. I might not be relaying the info in away that makes sense to everyone on technicl level, and i appologize, if i'm not making sense.
