Unhappy Help Me...with OTA HD Channels

Was-up Fellows…ones again I need your help.

Here is my problem, Im trying to pick up my (Ch. 09 KCAL) and (FoxSports Ch. 653) in HD with an Off the Air Antenna, that I bought from Radio Shake Indoor VHF/UHF/HDTV Antenna with RF Remote Control Model: 15-1892. I need to see my L.A. Dodgers in HD. I current have the DVR HR20 receiver and I live in Los Angeles, so Im one of the few that could pick up my local channels in HD with out the OTA... EXCEPT…Ch’s. 05 KTLA, 09 KCAL, 13 UPN. So I figured I buy the OTA and be able to at least pick up Ch 9 in HD, but when I connected the antenna to the back of my TV…it looked like cr@p...it looked very snowy and it looked nothing like HD, just like if I had a regular antenna w/no HD…Maybe im doing something wrong or installing wrong…Can someone please help me…Thanks…One last thing…how can I get FOXSPORTS in HD with the OTA???

Thanks ones again!

Did you go through the antenna set up, enter your zip code, etc on the DVR so the OTA channels show up in your guide? You still need to tune them through your DTV guide (if your antenna is plugged into the DVR) - not through "regular" channels.

NOTE: I had to reboot my DVR before the OTA channels would show up, even after going through set up.

The OTA channels will be listed in the program guide, or you can direct tune them with the dash "-" (ex 9-1). Fox Sports is a satellite channel, not an OTA channel. OTA only goes up to channel 69.
