Default HR20-100S Recording Question

Sorry if this is a repeat question (I searched, I swear!)

Here's the question: Is there any way to delete a single episode from the "to do list" without deleting the entire season?

Here's the longer version: So I just got my brand spanking new HR20-100S yesterday (LOVE IT, by the way) and I'm having one little recording quirk. When I go to record an entire season of a show sometimes it says in the "to do list" that several episodes that I've already seen are going to be taped. I've already set my preferences to only record first run episodes, but with shows on HBO, for example, it doesn't know that I've already seen some of those first run episodes, so it's scheduled to tape them anyway. Or for example I've missed a bunch of episodes of The Office so I've got that set to tape both repeats and first runs alike. However, I've obviously seen some of those episodes. So my question is: how to I remove specific episodes from the "to do list"? When I hit the record button (which you hit once to record once, twice to record a full season and three times to cancel the recording) it deletes the whole season's pass. Is there any way to delete a single episode from the "to do list" without deleting the entire season?

after you highlight the name of the program, hit select......
you should see a drop down list of the programs already recorded and just delete them accordingly.

I think I answered your question. Maybe someone else can elaborate on this.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not looking to delete something that's already been recorded, I want to delete something from the "to do" list before it records. But when I try and do that it ends up deleting the entire season or Series Link as they call it.

I beleive it's similar to what DownGoesFrazier said.I had the same problem and still have it and it's 1 of the things I hate most about it.It has it's pluses but I see more negatives as of now.

Default The Answer!

Someone on the D* Technical Forum had the answer. Just highlight it in the "to do" list and hit the STOP button on the remote and it removes only that episodes and keeps the rest of the season and episodes in tact. Thanks for trying guys.
