External Hard Drive for HR20?

Is it possible to add an external hard drive to my HR20? If so, how would you connect? ie...USB? Then, if that's possible, when you record a show, how would you designate it to store in your external drive?

ESATA.

From what I've read on here, the HD takes the place of the internal HD. No moving back and forth. To designate back to the internal HD (I assume) just unplug the external.
