Last nite i decided to watch a show i had recorded. The show lasted about 45 minutes & after it was over i deleted it & then i seen that i wanted to watch the beginning of the show that was on the channel i left it on while watching my recorded show. BUT when i tried to rewind the channel it would not go back. I thought when you had it on a channel it was ALWAYS recording that channel, even if i am watching a taped show as long as it is on the channel it's recording. I know thats how the HDDVR worked i had from TWC, but this HR20 700 i know nothing about. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

IF you change the channel to check something else you WILL lose the buffer for the channel you were watching, so in a sense, NO it's not actually recording. keep in mind that you can record two different channels and still watch something you already have recorded. Jimbo |
