Default RF Remote Control - To Control Remote Receiver

I know they make RF Remote Controls but I am wondering if anyone has a recommendation?

I have a new LCD Flat Panel I'd like to hang in the kitchen (maybe the kids will finally come back to the table for dinner) but the DirecTV HD Receiver is too big to hang on the wall as well. I would locate the receiver in another location and control it via an RF signal rather than with infrared.

Any thoughts?

Remote extender from Leapfrog at CC. I think I paid $39 for mine. Works like a charm. Excellent reviews. Plug each unit into a ac outlet and use your current remote.

The H20 has RF for remote built in. But they didn't come with the antennas and few came with RF remotes.

Get RC24 or RC34 remote. Antenna is nothing more than a 6-9" piece of center conductor cable from RG59 (or RG6 if you don't mind bigger cable).
In other words, get a piece of RG59 or 6 with F connector.
Remove outer insulation and braid so the shield is gone. Leave center conductor alone and preferably with its insulation intact so it doesn't short anything.

Change menu in H20 from IR to RF and follow instructions.
