Beware of Dish TV
I recently switched from Direct TV one month ago. Big mistake.
Their service is CRAP, their equipment is unreliable (i.e. CRAP – two faulty HD DVR’s in two weeks), their phone system is CRAP, and there is no satisfaction guarantee at all! I could terminate contract - at a penalty of over $300!! I'm stuck with Dish TV for 23 more months. DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! |

Dish and Direct
I switched to Dish about 2 years ago because I wanted VOOM.
 Well, so much for THAT ! However I have stayed with Dish because I prefer their DVR and I love the HD channels that still remain.....Also, Dish has my HD locals, where Direct does not. Otherwise, I see no real difference between the two. And I have had ZERO problems with the equipment ( but then, I also had zero problems with Direct's equipment ). As for Loves2Watch - I have always respected him and his opinions and would take his advice over many others on this site ( no, I'm not his brother-in-law  ).
