Default Installation Question

I just set up an appointment for an HR20-700. The offer I got from rentention was $99 to upgrade from my existing H20.

Since this is a dual tuner DRV I'll need an extra coax run to it. The retention agent said this is included in the $99. I told her that I currently have 4 coax lines coming into the house and asked if any extra equipment would be needed to run a 5th line. She didn't seem to think so. For some reason I thought another device was required to go over 4 lines. Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks,
MIRWIN

More than 4 lines will require a multiswitch, in the case of the HR20-700 that would be the zinwell wb68 6x8 multiswitch.

Your will need a multiswitch that can carry MPEG 4. The Zinwell WB-68 will do the trick. Have the installer put one in for you.

Default Thanks!

Do the installers usually have these on hand, or do you think I need to call and make sure they know to bring one?

Personally, if you can get ahold of the installation people, I would call and verify that they have them handy and on the truck.

Default Thanks again!

I called the number retention gave me in case I needed to reschedule the installation. They said they would add a note about the multiswitch to the work order. I guess that is all I can do.
