I have just purchased an R15 and H20, both to be used in my living room. I have just found out that they both use the same ir remote signals and thus each remote controls both boxes. I was able to setup the RF control for the H20 box, which works great when i use the remote for the H20, but using the R15 remote still operates both boxes. It turns out enabling RF for the H20 only changes what the remote ouputs, but the box still accepts IR signals.
So..... I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions on how i can keep both boxes in the same room and control only one box or the other with different remotes. |

Not sure about your receiver, but my H-10 has an option in the remote set up for addressing addl remotes.
Also, will the H-20 remote control both boxes ? You have different settings on the RC-24 remotes, can you assign the R-15 to a different A?V slot at the top of the remote. The remote you got with the H-20 should be able to control your R-15 DVR funtions Jimbo |
