Question NBA Free Preview...False Advertising?

Hello everyone, I subscribe to the NBA Package and also the HD package. You might remember my threads long ago complaining about not getting the HD NBA games that show up in the guide in the 90's. They would always be 'program not available in your area' type deals. So, I called DTV a few times and got many different stories, most popular being I was blacked out of that nights game, which makes no sense because I live in Kansas City, and two, if I was blacked out by some imaginary KC team or region, I should get the other games.
Other stories I heard were that 'its the NBA that is doing it to you' to 'I don't know' to 'the NBA package doesn't include any HD games' (which is crazy but I guess makes the most sense....like maybe next year they are going to "Superfan" it). At any rate, it was most frustrating because those games were showing up in the guide. I wouldn't be so upset if I wasn't tempted by the guide showing me that someone, somewhere is getting those games.

So, this is the NBA free preview week and last night I checked and lo and behold the HD game (Sixers and Kings) was on, loud and clear. Does the league/DTV have the ability to freeze you out of HD programming, and if so, wouldn't it be messed up if next week I couldn't get those games?

I will probably call tonight, but I like to be prepared before I have any rant. Any thoughts?

BSTAN, The game being broadcast last night was through the NBA TV channel and it was being broadcast in SD and HD. The HD for the people who subscribe to the HD programming. Hopefully this helps.

Thanks but I do subscribe to the HD package and I have never gotten the NBA TV game before...

Usually I can only watch the SD 601 NBA TV not the HD feed.

Thats because that Kings/sixers game was one of the first HD games on nba tv all year, if not the first.
