Question I don't get it?

There doesn't seem to be a lot of difference between Dish/DirecTV or TW or Comcast cable. the channel selections are very similar. While everyone would like to have more channels, doesn't seem possible now. If someone really went to all HD or many more HD they would have most HD subscribers switching ASAP.
So why the constant complaining? I am not sure I understand what people expect them to do?

When people tell me things for weeks on end and then when the things are due...extend it months later...I consider it a pretty obvious place to complain.

And I think everyone else has a legit right as well

Will it do anything? Nah, but it makes me feel better

Well, I think you and I may be more sensitive to that than most.

At least we can get more HD to watch between 2-6am, right?

DirecTV and Dish Network both offer these receivers.

Those packages are interesting. I have the HD package, but have no desire for DVR service, yet they come linked together in their packages. Wonder can I get a HD package without having to pay for DVR service?

Default Dish to Direct

If Dish does not pick up the Big Ten Network I will be switching to Direct. Could someone answer a couple of questions for me? Will I need two dishes to pick up local stations? Also is the Direct HD receiver as good as the Dish receiver for picking up HD off the air. Thanks for any help.

One dish will suffice in picking up your locals, SD and HD, from Directv. I have never had the Dish receiver as I have been with Directv since 99, but my receiver picks up all the HD OTA available to me. And I occasionally get a digital channel that is 90 miles away with only an indoor antenna.

I called DTV and asked about when they will add more HD channels. I was told they are planiing to add over 100 more by the end of 2007!

Just hope they arent all crap HD channels like DISH
