Directv Channel Lineup

that's what some of the people who apologize for d* on this forum are!

I have checked back after a couple of months and the only thing that has changed as far as d* is concerned are that now people who work for this greedy, false advertising, monopolistic outfit are on the forum still defending it.

Don't you get it. They move at their own speed lying all the way because Fox has the Sunday ticket. End of story.

Hey fastek24, where have you been. I agree, D* is the GM of the satellite/cable broadcast world. The only reason I stay with them is for the NFL-ST and..... I guess that's the only reason.

Hopefully in the not too distant future a Voom type company will start up and give us all a better choice.

Here is my two cents; I have had HD from both companies. I have not had cable since 1996 and have no plans to go back to wireheads.
As for the two Dish companies, I have to give the nod to DTV. Cheapper overall than Dish. If you want the Discovery SD pack, you are stuck with paying for the Encore package with really sucks! As for HD, sorry DTV gives us East and or West HD for free. Yes they could be better, but us stockholders do want a profit sometime.

DTV took away my east coast HD feeds. I still have east coast SD feeds but not HD feeds, some new law. Anybody have and address back east i can use LOL....

Ariane Space was supposed to launch Spaceway 2 last week. They kept delaying it until yesterday, when they scrubbed the launch due to ""minor problems with the ground support infrastructure". Here is the link: http://www.spaceflightnow.com/ariane/v167/status.html.

Yeah, I haven an antenna hooked up now. I dont care much about whats on the local channels though, so its not a big concern for me.

Does anyone know if TNT HD is going to be added to the Directv HD lineup? Dish Network and many cable companies have had it for a while now. as a big NBA fan, I miss the many games on HD that TNT has. I've written to Directv and they have said they are "working on it".

They've been working on it for well over a year. There are those of us who believe D* sees TNT HD as too much of a threat to their NBA League Pass
