menue buttons changed color

yesterday the buttons on the menu guide change to white. im talking about the 6 hour ahead and 6 hour behind, plus the menu options. they use to show up on screen as red, green and yellow, now there all white. they still work the same on my remote control, just wonder if i did something to change them to white. below is a picture of what they use to look like. now the are white and have the forward and back buttons instead of these.

I don't see it in your pic but if they're white just do a reset.

i found the same problem listed on the direct tv forum, over at directtv.com. an update did it.

Then why didn't the update do it to everyone who received it? Sounds more like a glitch than a general problem caused by the update. Over on that forum every time anything is wrong it gets blamed on the latest update. There are some really good posters over there so what was their reply? I can't seem to find the post but I could have missed it if the title didn't say "buttons". Were you able to fix it?

guess it only affected the genie. all i know is on direct tv.com, in there forum, there are a lot, and i mean a lot, of talk about it. no body knows why, no answers. heres a pic of what i see.

He has a HR34 - you might try searching for it that way.

found this about the hr34 = New Features:
Color Button Hint Removal

Color button hints seen on some screens will change to alternate
buttons. The color button functions will remain. This is to provide new hints for the Green, Yellow
and Blue buttons that have been removed from the
upcoming
RC70/71 remotes.
